J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) reports June sales fell 0.4% from $1.609 billion to $1.602 billion most recently. Comps for the month came in at down 2.4%. This level of same store sales comes in at slightly better than JCPenney's previous comps guidance of down mid-single digits.
