Republic Airways (RJET) Reports Preliminary Increase in March Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET) reported preliminary passenger traffic results for March 2008. The company generated 874.0 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 30.2% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 28.7% to 1.1 billion. Block hours were 65,457 in March 2008, a 22.8% increase over March 2007. Load factor was 76.7% versus 75.8% in March 2007. A total of 1,674,324 passengers were carried during the month, a 31.8% increase over the same month last year.
