Collective Brands Inc. (NYSE: PSS) 16% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.39, above the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenues for the quarter were $830.7 million, versus the consensus of $848.22 million.

Adolor Corporation (Nasdaq: ADLR) 13% HIGHER; Pfizer Inc (NYSE: PFE) and Adolor Corporation announced an exclusive worldwide collaboration to develop and commercialize novel compounds, ADL5859 and ADL5747, for the treatment of pain.

Photronics (Nasdaq: PLAB) 10% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.01, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenues for the quarter were $101.6 million, versus the consensus of $104.72 million.

Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) 10% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.10, ex-items, 1 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenues for the quarter were $416 million, versus the consensus of $420.98 million.

Sohu.com Inc. (Nasdaq: SOHU) 8% HIGHER; raises Q4 guidance. Sohu.com sees Q4 revenues of $55.5-$57.5 million. The consensus is $53.8 million. Sees Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.36-$0.38. The consensus is $0.29

Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: SNTA) 7.5% HIGHER; received an upfront non-refundable cash payment of $80 million from GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK) following expiration of the waiting period imposed by the FTC under the Hart Scott Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act for their collaboration agreement for the joint development and commercialization of elesclomol entered into on October 8, 2007.

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA) (Nasdaq: CMCSK) 7% LOWER; Reflecting an increasingly challenging economic and competitive environment and consistent with trends across the sector, Revenue Generating Units are now expected to increase by approximately 6 million to 57 million, versus previous guidance of approximately 6.5 million additions.

Western Digital (NYSE: WDC) 7% HIGHER; sees December quarter revenues in the range of $2.025 billion to $2.075 billion with earnings per share in the range of $1.02 to $1.06. The consensus is $1.9 billion and $0.77. Western Digital sees gross margin at or above the high-end of its long-term model range of 15 to 20 percent. On December 5, 2007, Western Digital will purchase all $250,000,000 in face value of the outstanding 2.125% Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2014.

Guess (NYSE: GES) 5.8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.62, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.58. Revenues for the quarter were $469.1 million, versus the consensus of $424.46 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $1.93-$1.96, versus the consensus of $1.92. Sees FY09 EPS of $2.35-$2.45, versus the consensus of $2.29.

Solarfun Power Holdings Co. Ltd. (Nasdaq: SOLF) 5.7% HIGHER; Continues recent upside surge

Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) 4% HIGHER; TD Newcrest upgrades RIM from Hold to Buy with a $130 price target, citing solid business and lower valuation.

Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL) 3.4% LOWER; will postpone its fourth quarter and full-year 2007 earnings release and conference call that were scheduled for today, Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007.

D&B (NYSE: DNB) 3% HIGHER; increased its guidance for core revenue growth to 8 percent to 10 percent, versus prior guidance of 7 percent to 9 percent growth. The Company reaffirmed its guidance for operating income growth of 8 percent to 10 percent. The Company also reaffirmed its guidance for diluted EPS growth of 11 percent to 14 percent. D&B also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a new two-year, $400 million share repurchase program. D&B also announced that it has acquired AllBusiness.com, Inc. for approximately $55 million.
