After-Hours Movers 11/06: PeopleSupport Moves Higher, Acme Packet Takes It On the Chin

PeopleSupport, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSPT) 22% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.27, which may or may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenues for the quarter were $36.9 million, versus the consensus of $34.70 million.

iMERGENT (AMEX: IIG) 14% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.07). Revenues for the quarter were $32.5 million.

Acme Packet, Inc. (Nasdaq: APKT) 12% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.10, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenues for the quarter were $29.6 million, versus the consensus of $29.32 million.

Blue Nile Inc. (Nasdaq: NILE) 11% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.18, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenues for the quarter were $67.4 million, versus the consensus of $68.02 million. Blue Nile boosted its guidance for the FY07 EPS of $1.00 to $1.05, versus the consensus of $1.02. Revenues are expected to be in the range of $316 to $322 million, versus the consensus of $321.8 million.

Turbochef (Nasdaq: OVEN) 5% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.03, ex-items, 12 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenues for the quarter were $32.5 million, versus the consensus of $26.91 million.

Avis Budget Group, Inc. (NYSE: CAR) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.60, 6 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.66. Revenues for the quarter were $1.7 billion, versus the consensus of $1.73 billion. Avis expects FY07 revenues of about $6 billion, versus the consensus of $6.03 billion.

HerbalLife Inc. (NYSE: HLF) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.67, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.64. Revenues for the quarter were $529.5 million, versus the consensus of $521.14 million. HerbalLife full year 07 guidance EPS $2.62-$2.64 versus consensus $2.60. Full year 08 EPS $3.17 to $3.23 versus consensus of $3.06

General Motors Corp. (NYSE: GM) 3.5% LOWER; announced it will record a net non-cash charge of $39 billion for the third quarter of 2007 related to establishing a valuation allowance against its deferred tax assets in the U.S., Canada and Germany.
