Syntax-Brillian (Nasdaq: BRLC) 24.9% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.11, versus the consensus of $0.12. Revenues came in at $205.3 million, versus the consensus of $198.11 million. Anticipates Q1 revenue in the range of $170 million to $180 million, and gross margins in the range of 15% to 17%. The revenue consensus is $256.58 million. For FY07 the company anticipates revenue in the range of $1.0 billion to $1.1 billion, and gross margins in the range of 16% to 18%. The revenue consensus is $1.27 billion. CFO Wayne Pratt also resigned.

Select Comfort Corporation (Nasdaq: SCSS) 9.5% LOWER; said, "we are currently on track to achieve the low-end of our full year sales and earnings targets. However, sales improvements are not likely to be sufficient to achieve the current third quarter consensus estimate of $0.27 per diluted share."

Aspen Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: AZPN) 8% LOWER; Said license bookings were $67 million during the fiscal fourth quarter, an increase of approximately 49% compared to $45 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2006.

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) 2.9% HIGHER; Board of Directors declared an annual cash dividend of $1.50 per share payable on December 3, 2007 to shareholders of record as of November 15, 2007. This is 50% higher than the Company's 2006 dividend of $1.00 per share.
