UPWARD MOVERS:
PolyMedica Corporation (Nasdaq: PLMD) +$6.38; Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MHS), and PolyMedica announced a definitive agreement under which Medco will acquire PolyMedica in an all-cash transaction valued at $53 per share, or $1.5 billion.

IDEXX Laboratories Inc. (Nasdaq: IDXX) +$3.25; Stock continues seeing interest, moving up 24 points since June 18, 2007.

Omrix Biopharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: OMRI) +$2.92; Dow Jones reports the FDA has approved the company's Anti-Bleeding product.

McDermott International Inc. (NYSE: MDR) +$1.60; Stock moving higher with no specific news releases. Shares have seen recent strength, gaining over 16 points in the past 7 trading sessions.

Wendy's International (NYSE: WEN) +$1.02; The company and 9.8% holder Trian/Triarc entered into a Confidentiality Agreement. In the past, Nelson Peltz's Triarc said it was prepared to offer $37-$41 per share for Wendy's.


DOWNWARD MOVERS:
Baidu.com (Nasdaq: BIDU) -$6.45; Chinese stocks giving back after yesterday's big gain in the Hang Seng market.

Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE: MA) -$6.20; Stock down with no specific news releases. Today's move may be attributed to a broad market sell-off.

Winn-Dixie Stores (Nasdaq: WINN) -$5.50; Reports Q4 EPS of $0.53 vs. consensus of $0.09 - may not be comparable. Revenues were $1.7 billion vs. $1.65 billion consensus (only 1 analyst) Comments on FY08 - WINN anticipates incurring a net loss for the year. Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN) -$3.11; Stock falling with no specific news releases, however, today's move could be attributed to profit taking.
