Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) reported that its sales results for the four-week period ended August 4, 2007, increased 10.4% to $121.4 million from $110.0 million reported for the four-week period ended July 29, 2006.
Comparable store sales for the Company-owned stores decreased 6.7% for the four-week period ended August 4, 2007 compared to the same four-week period last year ending August 5, 2006.
Total sales for the second quarter ended August 4, 2007 increased 8.1% to $436 million from $403 million for the same period a year ago. (Consensus is $464.8 million)
