Freedom Broker analyst Vitaly Kononov downgraded Luxfer Holdings PLC (NYSE: LXFR) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $16.40 (from $20.50).
The analyst comments "Luxfer delivered a mixed Q3 2026: adjusted net sales of $89.3M fell 3.9% YoY and missed our $93.8M estimate by 4.8%, but adjusted EBITDA of $12.2M came in 1.7% ahead of our $12.0M forecast and adjusted EPS of $0.25 beat our $0.22, as pricing actions and cost reduction lifted adjusted gross margin by ~100 bps to 24.4%. Following the print, we trim our top-line forecasts and lower 2027–2028e adjusted EBITDA , together with a revised peer-multiple valuation, reduces our price target to $16.4 from $20.5. The new PT sits below the $17.37 cash offer, meaning we no longer view the Wynnchurch consideration as undervaluing the business, a reversal of our August stance. We downgrade LXFR to HOLD from BUY. With the shareholder vote on November 4 and completion targeted for later in November, the shares now trade as a merger-arbitrage instrument."
