RBC Capital analyst Christopher Dendrinos reiterated an Outperform rating and $335.00 price target on Bloom Energy Corp. (NYSE: BE).
The anlayst comments "Our view. We believe the recommendations by the VEP are a positive read-through for BE and are another strong proof point that policy-makers are increasingly recognizing the need for alternative generation technologies that are cleaner, quieter, and more community friendly. The 2026 Virginia Energy Plan (VEP) creates a favorable state-level policy framework that supports the use of fuel cells through the introduction of a "non-combustion gas resource" category and is a preferred technology for near-term reliability needs. Specifically, the plan's framework calls for the deployment of up to 5 GW of non-combustion gas between 2029-2035 citing the benefits of lower local emissions, faster deployment timelines (18–24 months vs. years for conventional gas plants), shorter asset lives that avoid carbon lock-in, and connection to distribution infrastructure that avoids the need for major new pipeline investments."
