Citizens analyst Jeff Kauffman reiterated a Market Outperform rating and $10.00 price target on FTAI Infrastructure (NASDAQ: FIP).
The analyst commented, "In our view, the primary near-term catalyst for the shares remains a successful closure on the sale of the Long Ridge power assets. While this will result in the loss of ~$100 million in annual EBITDA, the transaction would be a net reduction of $1.5 billion in total debt, and set investor expectations for potential divestment in 2028 of the Terminal assets, resulting in a potential standalone rail company, Because the close of this transaction is sliding into 4Q26, we slightly raise our revenue and EBITDA expectations for 2026 as we now assume those assets remain on FIP's books through October, but we continue to expect that transaction to gain approval and close during 4Q26. The addition of incremental EBITDA and a lower leverage ratio in the Terminal business will aid the likelihood of a potential monetization here, but we believe the execution of the transactions are likely a key catalyst for investors before they assign credit for this in the valuation."
