Citizens analyst Andrew Boone raised the price target on Meta Platforms Inc. (NASDAQ: META) to $885.00 (from $770.00) while maintaining a Market Outperform rating.
The analyst commented, " With Muse appearing to reach the next AI inflection point, the same way Claude Code did for enterprise AI last winter, and ChatGPT did originally with Chatbots, Meta is increasingly well positioned to grow share of consumer AI usage, which it can turn into monetization. While Muse has the potential to be Meta's next billion user product, Connect was about Meta's hardware, which supports Meta's AI ecosystem by offering distribution. While it is still extremely early as Muse launched on September 8, if we 'dream the dream', Muse can unlock search, especially for services (which online always struggled to capture), as Meta captures more natural intent with Muse. With Muse uniquely positioned as a well-polished, consumer-focused agent, Meta supporting it with compute capacity, and Meta's hardware reinforcing distribution, engagement, and differentiation, we think shares can continue to run behind Muse as a product cycle. We reiterate our Market Outperform rating and increase our price target to $885 from $770."
