BTIG Upgrades Outlook Therapeutics Inc. (OTLK) to Buy

BTIG analyst Julian Harrison upgraded Outlook Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: OTLK) from Neutral to Buy with a price target of $4.00.

The analyst comments "We are upgrading OTLK to BUY and a $4 PT, following LYTENAVA's approval in wet AMD on Friday afternoon by the FDA. The approval supported by a formal dispute resolution is largely unprecedented, and represents a pivot from OTLK being a regulatory debate to a commercial story. LYTENAVA is now confirmed as the only FDA-approved ophthalmic bevacizumab (anti-VEGF mAb) formulation for wet AMD (wAMD). Physicians currently utilize compounded bevacizumab for anti-VEGF wAMD treatment, though limited oversight typically transfers undue risk to providers and patients. We think an FDA-approved bevacizumab formulation in LYTENAVA should relieve many of these concerns and likely becomes the preferred wAMD anti-VEGF treatment option rather quickly. The US anti-VEGF retina market is estimated at ~$8.5B, with ~2.7 million intravitreal injections administered per year. OTLK is now shifting to commercial execution, including focusing on reimbursement, patient access, and supporting physicians to establish LYTENAVA as the potential leading anti-VEGF treatment for wAMD. LYTENAVA is likely to be commercially available in the US by calendar YE26 (we model US rev beginning in calendar 1Q27)."
