Stephens analyst Matt Olney lowered the price target on Texas Capital Bancshares (NASDAQ: TCBI) to $112.00 (from $116.00) while maintaining a Overweight rating.
The analyst commented: "TCBI reported a 2Q26 operating EPS beat as stronger fees offset softer NII and higher operating expenses. The 2Q26 core PPNR trends were relatively inline with consensus forecast. While we're encouraged to see the guidance point to continued fee momentum, the NII outlook is below us/consensus forecast and is the primary driver to our lowered EPS forecast. We continue to see positive operating leverage in 2026 but are lowering our PPNR YoY growth forecast to 7%, down from 9%. Our price target of $112 (was $116) represents 14x our 2027 EPS forecast of $8.04 and 1.35x our 12-month TBVPS forecast. Our rating is Overweight."
