RBC Capital analyst Ashish Sabadra lowered the price target on Equifax (NYSE: EFX) to $194.00 (from $222.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst comments: “Government Verification revenue declined 4% and missed expectations, but strong new wins of $100m signal accelerating growth ahead. The pipeline has doubled, and increased activity around OBBB requirements beginning in 2027 should drive bookings momentum in 2H26 —easing concerns about competitive pressures and disintermediation. EFX also reaffirmed low double-digit growth expectations for diversified verification, which reinforces our confidence in overall Verification growth acceleration. However, we are lowering our estimates as we see limited upside to the midpoint of the FY26 guidance range and our price target given GenAI disintermediation concerns weighing on the sector.”
