Evercore ISI analyst Nicholas Amicucci initiates coverage on ERock Inc (NYSE: EROC) with a Outperform rating and a price target of $28.00.
The analyst comments: “We are initiating coverage of ERock (ticker: EROC) with an Outperform rating and a $28 price target. ERock designs, builds, operates and maintains modular, natural gas distributed power systems. We estimate ERock’s bridge-to-flex approach will enable its installed base to scale from ~1 GW today to 9 GW+ by 2030, which is ~2x the rate of the broader power industry. Our constructive outlook is predicated on what we believe to be:
• A unique dual-purpose product offering, a nimble prime power to back-up power solution which is also able to address the transient power requirements of an AI training workload,
• A differentiated go-to-market strategy through what we view as a prudent bridge power approach addressing speed-to-power and reliability, while also enabling current and potential utility customers to consider it as a partner rather than a competitor, and
• The company’s “kitted” deployment approach, which limits the need for specialized EPC, resources which are becoming increasingly scarce.”
