Raymond James analyst Justin Jenkins raised the price target on Darling Ingredients (NYSE: DAR) to $83.00 (from $80.00) while maintaining a Strong Buy rating.
The analyst comments "Despite a tough macro backdrop over the past several years for renewable fuels, we think the inflection has arrived for Darling Ingredients (DAR). We believe DAR’s legacy business lines (Feed/Food) provide long-term advantages for its sustainable fuels business, driving meaningful integration value/earnings durability over time. Joint venture Diamond Green Diesel (DGD) retains a robust footprint and first-mover advantage in the renewable diesel (RD) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) space, and margin indicators continue to improve. All of this occurs while DAR's “upstream” core operations drive strong strategic positioning in the long run. All told, we expect continued recovery in both the business and its trading multiple into 2027 and beyond. We reiterate our Strong Buy rating."
