TD Cowen analyst Robert Moskow downgraded Vital Farms (NASDAQ: VITL) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $16.00 (from $25.00).
The analyst comments "We lower Vital Farms to Hold and PT to $16. The slowdown in VITL's retail sales trends has already caused the stock's valuation multiple to contract and short interest remains elevated. However, we step to the sidelines until there is more clarity on whether the causes of the slowdown are transitory or longer-lasting in nature."
