Wells Fargo analyst Yanan Zhu downgraded uniQure BV (NASDAQ: QURE) from Overweight to Equal Weight with a price target of $15.00 (from $60.00).
The analyst comments: "QURE on Feb 27 received final minutes from FDA regarding a Type A meeting that was held on Jan 30. FDA stated it cannot agree that data from the P1/2 studies, compared to an external control (EC), are sufficient to provide the primary evidence of effectiveness required to support a BLA filing. FDA strongly recommended the company to conduct a prospective, randomized, double-blind, sham surgery- controlled study. We are downgrading our rating from Overweight to Equal Weight and lowering our PT from $60 to $15 based on updated model assumption on Huntington's disease program POS and launch timeline."
