Stifel analyst Andrew Carter reiterated a Hold rating and $98.00 price target on UFP Industries (NASDAQ: UFPI).
The analyst commented, "QUICK WORD: NEGATIVE to NEUTRAL4Q25 EBITDA $107 million, -19% y/y, trailing our estimate/consensus, driven by lower revenue. Puts/takes with the Construction performance resilient but the revenue shortfall in the Retail segment is surprising even considering the hurricane comparisons. As we expected, UFPI did not provide formal FY26 guidance noting cautious optimism alongside commentary suggesting a cautious outlook for next year. We plan to evaluate our FY26E EBITDA estimate following this morning’s call with our attached model/updated estimates only reflecting actual 4Q25 results with no changes in underlying assumptions.Ahead of the quarter, we believe the recent outperformance did not fully appreciate the softer FY26 prospects. Though UFPI does not offer formal guidance, we believe the shortfall will likely drive the shares lower We believe a patient approach remains appropriate but highlight the optionality with the balance sheet at a 1.2x Net Cash position and UFPI repurchasing $162 million in quarter."
