Stifel analyst Andrew Carter lowered the price target on Pool Corp (NASDAQ: POOL) to $232.00 (from $240.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst commented, "We continue with our Hold rating for POOL shares while reducing our estimates/target price. 4Q25 results missed expectations against what we viewed as a stable category while initial FY26 guidance trailed our consensus low estimates, we offer a positive near-term tactical bias given the underperformance post results (POOL -13.2%, S&P 500 +0.4%) pushing POOL shares to parity with peers alongside what we regard as achievable FY26 guidance. With a stable earnings profile, we believe Bulls will rightfully point to the return-of-cash profile but also a historically cheap valuation and POOL prospects amid a normalized environment. However, we temper our enthusiasm on the timing and magnitude of the inflection as well as the consistent headwind from Heritage’s aggressive expansion effort. We offer a neutral bias ahead of HAYW 4Q25, slightly adjusting our estimates. We believe SWIM 4Q25 results will showcase robust growth from market share gains dramatically undervalued at current levels."
