UBS analyst Mauricio Serna lowered the price target on Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) to $149.00 (from $160.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "ANF updated its Q4 operating outlook on Jan. 12th (link). We therefore think the stock's move will be dictated by ANF's FY26 guidance. Our analyses indicate ANF's sales trends have decelerated into Q1. This factor along with management conservatism are key reasons we expect a FY26 sales growth outlook below consensus' +4.6% view. We also anticipate $9.35-$10.35 FY26 EPS guide, below the Street's $10.47 forecast. However, we think the market already envisions a soft FY6 guidance. We thus see a balanced upside/downside skew over the event. The options market is pricing in a +/-13.0% move over earnings vs. a 13.8% historical avg. move. We expect less volatility than 13.0%."
