Barclays analyst Brandt Montour lowered the price target on Six Flags Entertainment (NYSE: FUN) to $22.00 (from $25.00) while maintaining a Overweight rating.

The analyst comments "Coming away from FUN's better-than-expected 4Q, we learned much about new CEO John Reilly's plan for Six Flags (though with perhaps less help on the model, given no formal guidance). Based on what we did learn, our initial impression of new management was positive, with what seemed like a credible plan of action toward improvement. The first round of key initiatives resonated with us: more localized marketing (every park/market is different), greatly simplified pass program, more automation, smarter cost rationalization while protecting the customer experience, and lastly, better governance and accountability. Nearer term, the most important take from this report, in our view, was the green shoots the company called out on its pass sales season-to-date. We're not yet into prime selling season for the pass, so the company wouldn't even give metrics, but the execution (and weather) that so heavily disrupted pass sales in May/June of last year, in our view, was the most impactful negative driver for 2025 as a whole. And so, given this early optimism, coupled with new management that has a clear vision for improvement and time still available to make changes ahead of the coming year, we view the setup as favorable."
