BMO Capital analyst John McNulty raised the price target on DuPont (NYSE: DD) to $60.00 (from $50.00) while maintaining an Outperform rating.
The analyst commented: "DD Remains a Top Pick--Growth in HC/Water and Fin Flexibility to Drive DD EPS; We continue to recommend DD as a Top Large-Cap Pick in our coverage. DD should enjoy DD EPS growth tied to its exposure to secular themes in Water and Healthcare (50% of the company), as well as profit improvement in Diversified. Further, there is risk to the upside tied to capital deployment (buybacks and/or M&A) from its significant financial flexibility, as well as any recovery in the Diversified end-markets (with Construction near its lows). With modest multiple expansion, we see upside to our new $60 PT and reiterate our OP."
