Citizens analyst Andrew Boone lowered the price target on Unity Software (NYSE: U) to $37.00 (from $50.00) while maintaining a Market Outperform rating.
The analyst commented, "Unity Software reported mixed 4Q25 results as revenue and EBITDA came in $13M and $10M, respectively, above the high-end of guidance, though 1Q26 guidance for revenue and EBITDA guidance at the midpoint were 1.5% and 8%, respectively, below consensus. While we acknowledge the miss in guidance, which is typically conservative, Vector grew mid-teens Q/Q and Create grew 16% Y/Y after excluding non-strategic revenue. With runtime data beginning to be incorporated into Vector in 2Q, Unity’s Commerce Platform (in-app checkout) moving into early access next week, and Unity 6 the fastest-adopted release ever, operational momentum is building. While the impact of AI remains an unanswered question, we ultimately believe Unity’s platform remains necessary for game developers given the complexity of game creation, optimization, and operations and we continue to be buyers."
