DA Davidson analyst Brian Holland raised the price target on Hershey (NYSE: HSY) to $243.00 (from $207.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The analyst commented, "HSY accelerated path to earnings restoration justifies -- and perhaps underappreciates -- the stock's 9% move. Encouaging elasticity reads and a robust innovation slate yielded a comparatively bullish top line outlook despite anticipated headwinds from MAHA, GLP-1, SNAP, etc., while allowing for elevated brand reinvestment in the middle of the P&L (A&C +DD). We acknowledge certain below the line items (interest expense, other expense, taxes) drive a portion of FY26 earnings recovery; however, we point out there appears multiple paths FY27E upside assuming the backdrop doesn't worsen from here."
