Wells Fargo analyst Larry Biegelsen lowered the price target on Abbott Labs (NYSE: ABT) to $122.00 (from $146.00) while maintaining a Overweight rating.
The analyst comments "On 1/22, ABT reported a Q4 sales miss and in-line EPS on transitory headwinds (largely in Nutrition). 2026 organic sales growth guidance of 6.5-7.5% is below prior consensus due to Nutrition headwinds persisting into 1H '26. EPS guide was in line. Q4 sales of $11.6B below Street/our est. $11.8B on 1x items. Q4 org sales of +3.8% missed our 7.0% est (ex-COVID testing), due to transitory issues in Nutrition (pricing action), Rapid Dx (delayed flu season), and Libre (OUS recall). Beyond Nutrition, all segments other than EPD slightly missed our estimates."
