Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Manish Somaiya initiates coverage on Centuri Holdings Inc (NYSE: CTRI) with a Overweight rating and a price target of $34.00.
The analyst comments: "We see Centuri as a dedicated utility infrastructure services provider with a large, highly recurring revenue base supported by long-term Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with regulated gas and electric utilities. Since its separation from Southwest Gas in 2024, Centuri has operated as an independent public company with improved governance, clearer capital allocation priorities, and a sharper focus on operational execution. The backlog now stands at a record $5.9 B, with ~ 86% supported by MSAs, offering strong multi-year visibility. Additionally, a $13 B pipeline of opportunities, including both MSA renewals and strategic bid work, drives ongoing growth. Growth in electric distribution, system modernization, and data-center-related utility projects is steadily expanding the core business while maintaining Centuri’s low-risk operating profile."
