DA Davidson analyst Peter Winter raised the price target on U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) to $65.00 (from $63.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented, "USB delivered 370bp of positive operating leverage in 2025, after being negative 7 of the last 8 years. Importantly, the strong POL was driven by revenue growth, with good momentum into 2026. USB maintained its guidance of reaching a 3.00% NIM in 2027 vs. 2.77% in 4Q25. In our view, if USB can maintain its positive revenue momentum it should help them regain its premium valuation. USB already reached the low-end of its medium-term profitably targets in 4Q25, which puts them at the upper end of peers, plus credit & capital trends are improving. Maintain BUY, and rasing our PT to $65 (was $63."
