UBS analyst Joshua Chan lowered the price target on Manpower Inc. (NYSE: MAN) to $32.00 (from $39.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The analyst commented, "We think MAN shares are in the process of a somewhat messy bottoming, comprising 1) still-subdued near-term financial outlook, against 2) stabilizing end markets and estimate cadence. For Q4, our EPS estimate is mildly below consensus ($0.80 vs. $0.82) owing to our view of a normal sequential margin cadence (-10bps EBIT margin) coming in slightly below the Street (flat sequential margin). Into 2026, we think Street EBIT estimate is relatively well-calibrated, the first time in several years where we didn't see meaningful downside to Street estimates entering a year. If all this plays out, full-year 2026 estimates may not change much exiting the print which, while not exactly upside, would represent a cadence shift against continued estimate cuts in the last several years. We still don't see a positive catalyst, so remain Neutral-rated, but see fundamentals and estimates likely leveling off. Reducing PT to $32 from $39 on lower estimates and multiple."
