Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst Catherine Mealor raised the price target on United Community Banks (NYSE: UCB) to $36.00 (from $34.00) while maintaining a Market Perform rating.
The analyst commented: "UCB reached its 40% cumulative deposit beta target, which drove NIM expansion +4 bps to 3.62% and growth was steady at 4%. We were encouraged to see UCB repurchase stock and expect this to continue as a method for capital deployment into 2026 (we add in $50mm of the $100mm authorization). We are raising '26/'27E 3-5% to $2.92/$3.20 and now model 7% EPS growth and 10% TBV growth in 2026. Raising PT to $36 (from $34) on the higher EPS, which is 1.6x TBV, 12x '26E EPS, and 11x '27E EPS."
