Benchmark analyst Subash Chandra reiterated a Buy rating and $112.00 price target on Expand Energy (NASDAQ: EXE).
The analyst commented, "EXE is our top E&P pick for 2026. We can trust the company to respect macro fundamentals, reduce breakeven prices, expand inventory in accretive ways and judiciously manage the balance sheet. EXE signalled that growth has been de-prioritized in ’26 given the pullback in gas prices. They’ve achieved their growth objectives in 4Q and will maintain volumes through 2026. We expect a strong quarter as cold weather boosted regional demand and allowed EXE to pulse volumes into the market. We suspect production exceeded guidance of 7.250 bcfe/d. Differentials should be better than annual guidance due weather. Capex may also exceed midpoint guidance of $725m but we still expect a FCF surprise."
