BofA Securities analyst Michael Carrier raised the price target on Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) to $210.00 (from $180.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "The recent re-rating in stock valuation is beginning to reflect the strong franchise value, cyclical tailwinds in capital markets, structural shift in the regulatory regime and investor comfort around execution under CEO Ted Pick’s leadership (assumed the role in Jan 2024). Potential for a record year for M&A volumes, marquee tech IPOs should support stock valuation with shares trading at 17.1x 2026 P/E and 3.4x YE26e P/TBV. Our forecast implies EPS growth of 10% on average for FY26/27 with potential upside from stronger revenue growth, excess capital deployment. We raise our PO on MS from $180 to $210 now based on 3.87x our YE26 TBV and 19x our FY26e EPS from 3.3x and 17.5x prior."
