KeyBanc analyst Ken Newman reiterated an Overweight rating and $1,000.00 price target on United Rentals (NYSE: URI).
The analyst commented: "We favor a barbell approach and highlight URI ($1,000 PT) as the highest quality operator within the Rental group. We think URI has the strongest track record of M&A and could see the Company pursue another $1B+ deal to support upside to estimates. We view HRI and AHT as more risk-on plays as both companies have a choppier history of execution. That said, we think HRI has largely moved past integration headwinds from the HEES deal and could drive revenue and margin expansion from synergy realization. For AHT, we think management is highly focused on a more prudent approach to guidance and stronger execution in the coming quarters, which could support upside to valuation."
