UBS analyst A.J. Rice reiterated a Neutral rating and $9.00 price target on Cross Country Healthcare (NASDAQ: CCRN).

The analyst commented, "CCRN issued a press release announcing that current President and Chief Executive Officer John Martins "separated" from CCRN and will also no longer serve as a member of the Board, effective as of December 14, 2025. The press release notes that, in light of the termination of the deal with Aya, the Board believes that it is an appropriate time for a CEO transition. CCRN appoints Kevin Clark as the new President and CEO. Mr. Clark co-founded CCRN in 1986 and served as Chairman and CEO until 1994. Mr. Clark returned from 2019 to 2022 as CEO, and since then has been serving as the company's Chairman. John Martins will receive two years of his base salary ($875,000) as well as two times the average actual bonus he received in the past three calendar years. The cash payments will come in installations in accordance with CCRN's regular payroll practices for two years. Based on historical precedents, severance costs are typically removed from adj. EBITDA calculations."
