RBC Capital analyst Irene Nattel raised the price target on Casey's General Stores (NASDAQ: CASY) to $591.00 (from $570.00) while maintaining a Sector Perform rating.
The analyst comments "Our view: Solid and a candy cane better than expected FQ2 KPI's/ results reflect effective execution of CASY strategies. EPS $5.53 +14% Y/ Y, 2%/7.5% above forecast/consensus, driven by stronger than expected gas margins and contribution from "other" that benefited from $8 MM/ ~$0.16/sh one-time adjustment, inside store contribution essentially as forecast. F26 outlook revised upwards to reflect strong H1 results, points to EBITDA $1.38 -$1.4 B vs prior RBCe/consensus ~$1.375B. CASY continues to earn its valuation premium, underpinned by attractive inside-store mix, unit growth cadence, geographic concentration, strong opex controls. F26 EBITDA nosed upward by 1.5%, PT to $591 on roll-forward."
