Rosenblatt analyst Steve Frankel raised the price target on IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX) to $47.00 (from $42.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.

The analyst comments "On the heels of last week's analyst meeting where management highlighted the changes in strategy and tactics that have driven material outperformance in 2025 and set the stage for growth and margin expansion in the years ahead, we are raising both our estimates and price target ($47, up from a prior $42) and pounding the table on the stock. Driven by a diversified set of content partners, a rapidly growing local language business, a strong film slate and significant market share gains through programs like Filmed for IMAX, the company is on a roll. In addition, contrary to the recent stock reaction, we believe the proposed purchase of Warner Brothers-Discovery by Netflix would be positive catalyst, setting the stage for an extension of the already close working relationship between IMAX and Netflix and its long history with Warner Brothers, With the shares still trading at just 10x EV/26 EBITDA we are pounding the table on the stock. Our new price target of $47 is based on 13x EV/26 EBITDA, still well below the mid-teens multiple the stock has traded at in the past, setting the stage for additional upside as the story plays out."
