BNP Paribas Exane analyst Andrew Grobler downgraded Robert Half (NYSE: RHI) from Neutral to Underperform with a price target of $22.00.
The analyst comments: "Robert Half's share price has been under significant pressure through 2025 given a combination of negative earnings revisions and concerns around the sustainability of its earnings power over time given potential headwinds from AI and Automation on demand and the competitive environment.
We see scope for cyclical improvement in the near term as the excess of the post covid markets have worked themselves through but also see longer term headwinds given its exposure to disciplines at high risk from material disintermediation. While the bulk of the disruption is currently on early career workers, we think this will both broaden out over time and that the current early workers are the basis for future activity and will weigh on the longer-term opportunity."
