Wells Fargo analyst Jason Hass lowered the price target on Cintas (NASDAQ: CTAS) to $185.00 (from $218.00) while maintaining a Equal Weight rating.
The analyst comments "We're cautious into Equal Weight-rated CTAS' earnings given our expectation for a margin miss, even as we model a beat on organic revenue. We're concerned that the market will mistakenly view the margin miss as tariff-driven pressure. Leaning cautious. We're modeling F2Q EPS $1.19 on 8.1% organic revenue growth vs. Street $1.20 on 7.6%. Our organic revenue growth estimate considers CTAS lapping over weak catalog sales and weak uniform direct sales which we estimate were a 20bp and 40bp headwind in F2Q25, respectively. CTAS has grown well despite a worsening employment backdrop. CTAS has limited white-collar job exposure where AI disruption is more likely. We expect a very small guidance raise."
