DA Davidson analyst Brian Holland lowered the price target on Campbell Soup (NASDAQ: CPB) to $30.00 (from $32.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The analyst commented, "Ahead of 1Q26 results next month, we maintain our NEUTRAL rating on CPB, as we think it’s too soon to call for an inflection in Snacking and thus are not prepared to view FY26E as de risked. Into first quarter results, our focus is on soup elasticities and share stabilization as competitors begin to take price, Rao's growth trajectory, any reason to believe Snacks can inflect in 2H26 (Jul), the latest on tariffs, and initial remarks from new CFO Todd Cunfer."
