Raymond James analyst Chris Raymond reiterated a Strong Buy rating and $45.00 price target on Sionna Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SION).
The analyst comments "Remain Strong Buy rated on SION shares following 3Q25 update. Recall, Sionna is conducting two studies with their first-in-class NBD1 stabilizers. First, a Phase 2a proof-of-concept study with SION-719 as an add-on to Trikafta — PreciSION. The goal of this study is to demonstrate that ‘719 is safe and well tolerated in patients with CF and the addition of an NBD1 stabilizer significantly improves CFTR function. The bar for success which would be deemed as clinically meaningful is a reduction of ≥10 mmol/L in sweat chloride which would translate to ~3 point improvement in ppFEV1 — a measure of lung function. Second, a healthy volunteer study of ‘451 in proprietary dual combinations with SOIN-2222 and SION-109. From this study, Sionna plans to advance one doublet into studies in patients with CF. Both PreciSION and HV doublet studies are expected to have topline data in mid-2026. We remain Strong Buy rated on SION shares and continue to like the set-up into initial POC data next year."
