Morgan Stanley analyst Terrance Flynn raised the price target on United Therapeutics (NASDAQ: UTHR) to $447.00 (from $435.00) while maintaining a Equalweight rating.
The analyst comments "UTHR posted a 3Q miss (see our first take HERE), but in our view shares are trading up +12% following management's commentary on the conference call regarding the potential for a partnership on Tyvaso. Specifically, mgmt. noted the strength of the Tyvaso TETON-2 Ph3 IPF data (see our notes HERE and HERE) could generate interest from potential large-pharma partners, and UTHR noted that historically they do not have a very strong ex-US presence. They also mentioned that conducting a combo trial of Ralenipag (Ph3 ongoing) and MRK's Winrevair could be interesting given potential synergy. During the post 3Q follow up call mgmt noted that the commentary was meant to suggest that the company is open to partnerships/collaborations, but that there are no active discussions."
