Cantor Fitzgerald Reiterates Coursera Inc (COUR) at Overweight: Consumer Segment Execution Healthy

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Yi Fu Lee reiterated an Overweight rating and $13.00 price target on Coursera Inc (NYSE: COUR).

The analyst commented, "nvestment Summary. We reiterate our Overweight rating and maintain our 12-month PT at $13 on an in-line 3Q25. Coursera delivered a consistent 3Q25, exceeding FactSet consensus on revenue, operating income/margin, and healthy EBITDA/free cash flow (FCF) expansion. Coming off from a recent peak in August of mid-$12 per share, we thought the setup heading into the quarter was favorable; however, we believe the lackluster after-market reaction down ~1% is attributed to the still-challenging Enterprise segment headwind (net retention rate down ~400 bps q/q to 89%), a higher-than-expected q/q seasonal revenue drop-off in 4Q25 we estimate at -1.4%, and no upside in adjusted EBITDA margin guidance maintained at 8%. We do believe Coursera did, in fact, deliver according to its priorities set at the beginning of the year in improving execution, building a durable platform by investing in product-led innovation. This is exemplified by the strong new global learners added of 7.7M for 3Q, up 18% y/y to end at 191 million total registered learners. We believe consistent learners addition of ~7-8M per quarter is an under-appreciated KPI trend, as it is a foreshadow to support healthy Consumer segment execution at 13% y/y growth. Strong 7.7M learner addition translates directly to accelerating overall y/y revenue growth at 10.3%, which is the first time achieving double-digit growth since 2Q24. Profitability metrics again outperformed on adjusted EBITDA of $15.6M at a margin of 8.0%, and even better FCF leverage of $26.6M at a margin of 13.7%."
