Aletheia Capital analyst Nirgunan Tiruchelvam downgraded Jumia Technologies (NYSE: JMIA) from Buy to Sell with a price target of $7.50.
The analyst comments "We downgrade Jumia to a SELL recommendation while maintaining our target price of US$7.50. The stock has risen 153% since 1st August due to improvements in the net working capital (NWC) position in the last two quarters, as well as management guidance for FY27 profitability. The NWC improvements appear to be seasonal and unsustainable. Jumia is trading at a premium to e-commerce comparables in terms of EV/Sales."
