UBS analyst Josh Silverstein reiterated a Neutral rating and $40.00 price target on Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN).
The analyst commented, "We reiterate our Neutral on DVN heading into its 3Q25 results. DVN has posted two quarters YTD of higher oil production and lower capex and we expect the operational momentum to continue in 3Q25. Early success on the $1Bn cost program has been demonstrated, with continued execution supporting downside risk to Street 2026/27 capex. We also see a continued debt reduction focus, supporting the opportunity to increase shareholder returns should the stock fall due to weakening oil prices."
