BTIG analyst Justin Zelin lowered the price target on Jasper Therapeutics (NASDAQ: JSPR) to $7.00 (from $20.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "JSPR stock is down ~5% today (XBI -1%) following an update from the co's investigation into the faulty drug lot for briquilimab and a $30M raise of common stock and pre-funded warrants. Overall, the findings from the investigation to date do not indicate a drug product or drug substance issue, with the investigation now turning to study site conduct. The investigation is still on track for completion in 4Q25, with an update from both the 240mg Q8W and 240mg to 180mg Q8W cohorts expected late 2025. We found efficacy from the July update for the 180mg Q8W OLE and 240mg/360mg single dose cohorts to be compelling, with CR rates ranging from 73-89%. Safety remains favorable, with little to no hair and skin color changes and resolvable taste change/neutrophil count decreases. We continue to see briquilimab as a safe and active drug and look ahead to updated BEACON data in 4Q for the two dose cohorts in question as well as additional OLE data. We expect JSPR to leverage the data from the 4Q update along with data from the evolving OLE portion of the study to inform their Ph 2b CSU dose and schedule, with the Ph 2b expected to start in mid '26. We lower our PT from $20 to $7 following an update to our diluted share count in our model."
