Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Prakhar Agrawal downgraded aTyr Pharma (NASDAQ: ATYR) from Overweight to Neutral.
The analyst comments "aTyr announced that the Phase 3 pulmonary sarcoidosis (PS) trial for efzofitimod (Efzo) missed the primary endpoint of change in mean steroid dose from baseline at week 48. aTyr plans to engage with the FDA to determine the path forward for Efzo in PS. We downgrade to Neutral as we don’t have much confidence in the path forward for Efzo in pulmonary sarcoidosis, as: 1) secondary endpoints are all nominal (many endpoints still have nominal p-values > 0.05). 2) for the key secondaries, there is only 10-15% improvement over placebo – for e.g., on the key secondary endpoint of complete steroid withdrawal -- 53% of high dose arm patients were steroid-free vs. 40% on placebo."
