RBC Capital analyst Nik Modi reiterated an Outperform rating and $63.00 price target on General Mills (NYSE: GIS).
The analyst commented: "Turn Around in Progress, but Investors Likely Need More Proof to Regain Confidence; We expect a neutral quarter for GIS to start its fiscal year. While Y/Y consumption trends show sequential improvement, GIS stock has continued to move downward as investor sentiment around packaged food remains poor and fundamentals have yet to fully turn. For F1Q'26 our estimates are slightly below consensus given that pet shipments in F4Q'25 likely reverse, wheat prices have become a headwind, trade expense timing continues to have a negative impact, and comps are sequentially tougher. That said, we don't expect adjustments to guidance given that the operating environment has largely been stable since GIS last reported."
