BofA Securities analyst Tazeen Ahmad reiterated a Buy rating and $76.00 price target on PTC Therapeutics (NASDAQ: PTCT).
The analyst comments "PTC Therapeutics (PTCT) is one of our top picks for the remainder of 2025. We continue to have a bullish outlook on Sephience opportunity in PKU following its approval with a broad label in late-July. The company began shipping commercial product in mid-August and expects to provide early launch metrics in future earnings call. Our initial KOL checks indicate strong demand for Sephience, given its differentiated clinical profile to approved therapies. We cite high focus on early payor coverage dynamics, which we think will be a key determinant of the launch trajectory. We view this as a blockbuster opportunity for the company and model peak sales of $1.3bn ($35/sh). We also see opportunity for upside within the pipeline as the company targets an accelerated approval for PTC518 in Huntington's disease, guiding to an FDA meeting in 4Q. We maintain our buy with $76 PO."
