Piper Sandler analyst Peter Keith raised the price target on Valvoline (NYSE: VVV) to $50.00 (from $44.00) while maintaining a Overweight rating.
The analyst commented: "Poised for Solid EPS Growth Acceleration; Valuation Attractive; We believe VVV shares present an attractive entry point and we raise our PT to $50 (21x 2027E EPS). The last 12 months have been frustrating for VVV shares as the company faced dual headwinds from refrachishing transactions and SG&A investments to move to a more modernized tech architecture. However, with FY25 wrapping up at the end of Sept, and these headwinds winding down, VVV is poised for healthy EPS/EBITDA growth reacceleration in FY26 and FY27. Shares trade at a discount relative to historical valuation and vs. consumer growth peers. And both the CEO and CFO have bought shares on the open market over the last 3.5 months. Finally, we note VVV will be at our Growth Frontiers conference in Nashville this week."
