DA Davidson analyst Brian Holland lowered the price target on BellRing Brands (NYSE: BRBR) to $58.00 (from $85.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented, "Our poorly timed upgrade did not sufficiently discount share risk and underappreciated sensitivity to competitive threats. The stock has now shed half its market cap since reporting 2Q25 results May 5, when investors began to contemplate an increasingly challenging FY26 setup. Meanwhile, extrapolating temporary club channel pallet expansion implies ~200bp risk to share, at least ~1/3 of which we think could be clawed back elsewhere (e.g. single serve, coolers, DSD). Net, we acknowledge FY26 sets up as a below algorithm year, but believe this is more than priced into the stock."
